烷氧基硼酸镍的摩擦学性能

摘 要: 合成了油溶性的十二烷氧基硼酸镍,利用四球试验机和环块摩擦磨损试验机评价了其抗磨减摩性能;采用X射线光电子能谱仪(XPS)分析了磨斑表面主要元素的组成和价态。实验结果表明,十二烷氧基硼酸镍添加剂使500SN基础油的承载能力得到明显改善,其抗磨性能明显提高,摩擦因数明显降低,且在500N时的摩擦因数较300N时更低;结合XPS分析可推断添加剂的作用机理是添加剂在摩擦过程中发生了摩擦化学反应,并在摩擦副表面生成了含NiO,B2O3,Fe2B以及FeB的复合润滑膜,有效地提高了基础油的抗磨减摩性能。

Tribological behaviors of 
nickel alkoxyborate

Abstract:Oil-soluble nickel dodecoxy borate was synthesized. Its tribological properties as lubricating oil additive were evaluated using four-ball and ring-on- block tribotester. The rubbed surface was investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The results indicate that the wear resistance and load-carrying capacity of 500SN base oil were increased. Its friction coefficient was decreased by the addition of additive, and the friction coefficient under 500N is lo we r than that of 300N. The XPS analyses indicate that the tribochemical reactions are involved in the friction process, which generates a protective film containing NiO, B2O3, FeB and Fe2B on the lubricated steel surface. This contributes to improving the antiwear and extreme pressure properties of the base stock.
