Ti6321钛合金退火处理过程中组织演变及其对冲击韧性的影响

摘 要: 为了调整合金显微组织参量,提高冲击韧性,采用OM研究Ti6321合金退火处理过程中组织演变及其对冲击韧性αkv的影响。结果表明:Ti6321合金冲击韧性随退火温度和时间发生明显变化。当退火温度低于Tβ时,初生等轴α相晶粒尺寸和次生条状α相宽度随退火温度升高而增大,次生α相条长宽比减小,使Ti6321合金冲击韧性αkv显著提高。当退火温度高于Tβ时,退火后初生等轴α相减少,β相含量急剧增加,空冷时从β相中析出大量针状次生α相,次生α相条长宽比增大,使合金冲击韧性αkv下降。在2 h内随退火时间延长,次生α相条粗化,长宽比降低,冲击韧性上升;退火时间超过2 h后,合金组织和冲击韧性趋于稳定。

Microstructure evolution of Ti6321 titanium alloy during annealing treatment and its effect on impact toughness

Abstract:The microstructure evolution and its effects on impact toughness of Ti6321 titanium alloy were investigated by the OM in order to enhance the impact toughness by changing microstructure through adjusting annealing temperature. The results indicate that the impact toughness greatly changes with the increase of annealing temperature. When the annealing temperature is lower than tβ, exquiaxed primary α grain and the secondary α lath grow up with annealing temperature increasing, and the impact toughness is remarkably enhanced. However, when annealing temperature is higher than tβ, exquiaxed primary α phase is reduced, and β phase contents rapidly increase. Large numbers of needle-like secondary α phases precipitate from β phase during air cooling, and the ratio of length to width of secondary α lath increases, which makes the impact toughness decrease. Within 2 h, secondary α lath coarsen and the ratio of length to width decreases with increase of annealing time, and then impact toughness increases. When annealing time is longer than 2 h, the microstructure and impact toughness are unchanged with annealing time prolonging.
