含对甲基苯基侧链基团的氧肟酸赤泥沉降剂的合成与性能

摘 要: 合成含对甲基苯基侧链结构的氧肟酸类新型高效絮凝剂。首先以丙烯酰胺水溶液为连续相,以对甲基苯乙烯为分散相,在SPAN-60及TWEEN-80复合乳化剂作用下形成微乳液,在15~35 ℃下合成丙烯酰胺与对甲基苯乙烯的共聚物;然后采用程序控温方式,在60~90 ℃下用硫酸羟胺将酰胺羟肟化得到所需产物。用红外光谱、紫外光谱和DSC表征产物结构,用黏度法测定产物的相对分子质量。考察所合成聚合物的相对分子质量及对甲基苯基含量对氧化铝生产过程中赤泥矿浆沉降效果的影响。结果表明,氧肟酸类絮凝剂中对甲基苯基质量分数为10.5%,相对分子质量为1.1×107时,具有良好的沉降效果,并优于现行使用的国内外产品。

Synthesis and properties of hydroxamic acid red mud flocculant containing side-chain of p-tolyl

Abstract:A new hydroxamic acid polymer containing p-tolyl as high efficiency flocculants was synthesized. Firstly, at 15−35 ℃, the copolymerization of acrylamide and (AM) p-methylphenylene was carried out in a microemulsion system, in which AM aqueous solution was the continue phase and p-methylphenylene was the dispersed phase using SPAN-60 and TWEEN-80 as surfactants, respectively. Polymers of hydroxamic functions were prepared with hydroxylamine salt at temperatures from 60 to 90 ℃ in the way of program control. The relative molecular mass was measured through the viscose method and the copolymer was characterized by FT-IR, UV and DSC. The effects of relative molecular mass of the copolymer and the content of the p-tolyl on red mud setting process in the production process of Al2O3 were studied. The results show that the new hydroxamic acid flocculants containing 10.5% p-tolyl with the relative molecular mass of 1.1×107 are more efficient in settlement effect than the hydroxamic acid flocculants that are widely used at present.
