FRACTURE MECHANICS CONDITIONS OF WALLROCK ALTERATION

Abstract:According to the characteristics of stress field surrounding cracks and by theoretical analyses of fracture mechanics, it was found that the wallrock alteration is controlled by the microcracks developed at crack-tip.
