Abstract:The shear stress wrinkling in forming large thin-sheet is very common and hard to be eliminated. The property of sheet metal is one of the most important factors that have great influence on the shear stress wrinkling. In order to provide some theoretical basis for choosing proper sheet metal, understanding the effect of property of sheet metal on the shear stress wrinkling will be necessary. The experimental results show that the larger the thick-oriented anistropic coefficient(r) and strain-hardening exponent(n), the better the anti-wrinkling property of material is.
